Why
get a Personal Trainer?
Knowledge - The Personal
Trainers that are a part of our Network directory are Exercise
Professionals with years of specialized experience.
Our Personal Trainers are certified from programs such
as:
- American
College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- National
Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- American
Council on Exercise (ACE)
- National
Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- Aquatic
Exercise Association (AEA)
- YMCA
In addition, many of our Personal Trainers hold advanced
degrees.
Motivation – Personal
Training provides the necessary motivation to begin
a workout program and to stick to a workout program.
Personal Trainers provide energy and enthusiasm at the
gym, in-home, or corporate
facilities. They enjoy what they do! Motivation,
when combined with a tailored exercise program, could
quite possibly be the key to your physical fitness
success!
Consistency - How often do
we break appointments with doctors, hair stylists or
accountants? Probably, not often. How often do we miss
a workout at the gym or at home, simply because something
else came up, or we were not motivated to follow through?
Probably often. Consistency is
extremely important, especially in the beginning, before
your body begins to “crave” a
workout. Appointments set with a Personal Trainer,
or a corporate wellness program,
can help to overcome this hurdle.
Efficiency - “I don’t
have time a workout!” Not many of us do. Therefore,
an efficient exercise program is as important
as anything else. If a workout takes too long, we won’t
stick to it, soon after our Personal Trainers have left
the picture.
Health and Safety – Personal
Trainers typically perform a pre-fitness evaluation.
This evaluation is done, in order to better understand
their client’s overall physical fitness level and
other possible health or safety concerns.
